Business Tax Services
Navigating corporate tax legislation can be complex, and errors can be costly. Our Business Tax service is dedicated to the preparation and submission of your Corporate Tax Return (Self-Assessment) to HM Revenue & Customs. We act as your agent, handling the technicalities of the submission process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The purpose of this work is to assist you in meeting your legal obligation to file an annual return. We take the accounts we have prepared and adjust them for tax purposes, ensuring that all allowances are utilized and liabilities are calculated correctly. We then submit your accounts in the required iXBRL format and advise you clearly on what to pay and when, removing the uncertainty from your corporate tax liabilities.

FAQ's
Who is legally responsible for the return?
As Directors, you are legally responsible for ensuring the return is correct and complete, and for filing it on time. Our role is to prepare the return based on your information to help you meet this obligation.
What if I have a loan from the company?
We will advise you if additional Corporation Tax is due on loans to directors or members (S455 tax) and calculate the necessary payments or repayments.
Do you handle HMRC enquiries?
We act as your agent in dealing with HMRC regarding the return. If HMRC opens an enquiry, we can assist you (this may be subject to a separate fee depending on the complexity).
What information do you need from me?
We need full information on the company’s income, charges, allowances, and capital transactions. You must also tell us about any changes in circumstances, such as new associated companies or R&D activities.
